Welcome and Opening Remarks

The Health Cluster Portugal (HCP) is a private non-profit association, founded in 2008, that currently brings together over 220 members, including R&D institutions, universities, hospitals, organizations from civil society, and companies in the areas of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical technologies, and services. Joana has spent nearly 12 years in the private sector working on business strategy, product development and commercialization, specifically in the Healthcare industry. Since November 2018, she is part of the Health Cluster Portugal (HCP) Executive team as Business Development Director.

The Germany Trade and Invest (GTAI) is the investment promotion agency of the Federal Republic of Germany with the mission to promote Germany as a location for industrial and technological investments and to identify investors for the German market. Harald Mylord is the Digital Health Manager at GTAI, previously working at the Charitè  (telemedicin), Berlin Partner for Business and Technology (medical technology and healthcare), VAMED (business development German hospital market), and  BITMARCK (digital health).

The DMEA trade fair in Berlin – Connecting Digital Health – is the central platform for digital health care. Zoltan Galla

CEO
Startup Campus Germany

Zoltan Galla is the CEO of Startup Campus Germany, also a mentor at EIT Health and business coach at the Hiventures Venture Capital Fund. Having obtained a master’s degree in International Relations, he commenced his career in 2010 as a project manager of emphasized university-based R+D projects. From 2014 he was the former head of the Innovation Management Division at the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency. In 2017 he became a partner at the Startup Campus community and launched an international startup consulting agency in the German capital, Berlin, called Startup Campus Germany.
