ABOUT US
The idea for the VILIM ball originated from a PhD thesis on rheumatoid arthritis treatment with mechanical stimulations, conducted by our company CEO, Mantas Venslauskas. Research in cooperation with Lithuanian University of Health Sciences gave a way to test vibration technologies also on patients with hand tremors. The test led to a promising conclusion- the device reduced symptoms for hand tremor patients. Since then we shifted our focus to this field with one goal – to help patients with hand tremors.
Introduction of the vilim ball
Therapy gives patients with Essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease a relief from the symptoms for the time they need to perform ordinary-life tasks, such as eating, writing, using computer, etc. It is a lightweight, quiet, easy-to-use device that you can carry with you and carry out your therapy in a place convenient to you. The working principles of the device are based on artificial intelligence (AI) controllable vibrational therapy, interrupting the neurological loop. It contains sensors that monitor the tremor level and personalize vibrational therapy to maximize the treatment effectiveness.
