The ECG247 heart sensor has been developed and manufactured by Appsens AS in Lillesand, Norway. Development and production take place in Norway. ECG247 is the result of many years of research and has been developed in close collaboration with Norwegian technology and research partners. ECG247 has been developed in collaboration with Norwegian cardiologists and has undergone extensive clinical testing. The ECG247 sensor can be reused for many tests or for several people. The sensor has advanced algorithms for automatic detection of all serious and common heart rhythm disturbances.
Introduction of eCG247
The ECG247 heart sensor is a medically certified sensor for continuous long-term monitoring (up to 7 days) of the heart rhythm to detect heart rhythm disorders. The ECG247 is affordable, easy to use and accurate. Via the ECG247 app, feedback is given in real time about possible heart rhythm disturbances. ECG data is uploaded directly to secure cloud storage, and is easily accessible to healthcare professionals. The sensor is currently in use by GPs, heart specialists and private and public hospitals. ECG247 is also available for self-testing and can be purchased in pharmacies.
